Almutaz Moualla has Obtained a bachelor’s degree in bio medical engineering in 2004 from
Damascus University. Through 10 years, he was a clinical specialist at Medtronic for many advanced surgical solutions like staplers for laparoscopic bariatric surgeries and RFA for hepatic surgeries.

In 2019, he obtained his degree as a respiratory therapist from Vanier College in Montreal, since then he has been working in many hospitals in Montreal in ICU and ER supporting patients who require respiratory assistance and mechanical ventilation.

In 2021, and after a year of working in the sleep lab of McGill research center, He has started the respiratory clinic RespiArt to improve the sleep health and asthma management.

In 2023, He obtained a certificate in clinical sleep health CCSH from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.

His focus is to educate patients and increase their awareness about sleep disorders and asthma.
